چکیده

In Law and Intangible Cultural Heritage in the City, Sara Gwendolyn Ross, a Killam Postdoctoral Laureate Social Science Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Fellow at Peter A. Allard School of Law, illuminates urban spaces with intangible cultural value that is often overlooked unprotected. The to which Ross refers “are found on street corners, neighbourhood haunts, parks, faded basement pubs, up creaky sets stairs live-work lofts overlooking street, behind doors repurposed factory space, crisp bright coffeeshops, loud music halls, pulsing nightclubs, shiny supper clubs.” She argues these sites their associated activities merit more attention, as “they are planes within inequality city…plays out for most inhabitants.”
